It’s officially release week for Drake. He is set to drop his ninth studio album, Iceman, on Friday. And he already has the music industry buzzing about the forthcoming project.
Charlamagne Warns Rocky & Khaled Over Drake’s ‘Iceman’
The information about Drake’s new project has remained mum for the most part. But as the release date draws near, details are starting to leak about the album. And radio host Charlamagne The God recently dropped a major nugget about Drizzy’s new album.
During the Monday (May 11) episode of Power 105.1’s The Breakfast Club, Charlamagne sent a warning to mega stars ASAP Rocky and DJ Khaled. And insinuated that Drake could send some shots their way on the forthcoming project.
“Khaled, you need to be on edge too, you and A$AP Rocky, y’all getting direct shiots on the project,” he said in a clip caught by Kurrco on X.

Drake & ASAP Rocky’s Feud Explained
Drake and Rocky’s feud began in 2024 when he appeared to insert himself in Drizzy and Kendrick Lamar’s feud on Metro Boomin and Future’s song Show of Hands. Rocky appeared to reference his past relationship with Sophie Brussaux, the mother of his son, Adonis.

N***as in they feelings over women, what, you hurt or somethin’? I smashed before you birthed, son, Flacko hit it first, son,” Rocky raps.
Drake appeared to respond to the form A$AP Mob member during his verse on Family Matters when her raps:
“I ain’t even know you rapped still ’cause they only talkin’ ’bout your ‘fit again. Probably gotta have a kid again ‘fore you think of droppin’ any shit again.”
While things appeared to have settled, in October, a Drake snippet leaked. Where the Grammy-winner appeared to call out the Harlem native over his 2025 gun assault trial. When he was accused of firing a gun at his former friend and bandmate, A$AP Relli.
“Talk about Drake, and you get you some streams man, how tf is your day 1 gonna testify so you can sit in a box either you ain’t never did shit for your brothers or they must’ve forgot,” he raps in the song snippet (via @realalmightee/X).
It will be interesting to see if Rocky responds if Drake calls him out.
