Even though the Iceman rollout may be over, Drake is still on the promo run of a lifetime. The Grammy-winner recently appeared in a Nike commercial with Houston Rockets superstar Kevin Durant.

Drake and Kevin Durant Star in New Nike Commercial

In a commercial for Kevin Durant’s new sneaker, the Nike KD 18, Drake does his best to show that he is a supportive friend.

Kevin Durant asks Drake if he wants to see his new sneaker. The first model he shows him is a fusion between a Nike Air Force One and a Cowboy Book. And despite the sneaker being an eyesore, Drake still shows love to the sneaker and says that the hoop star is “transcending the game.”

Durant tells Drake that he is just joking and asks him if he wants to see the real sneaker. But it’s another spoof. This time, a furry version of a Nike Slide. But once again, Drake shows love to the new model. And tells him that he’s going to “dominate the Alaskan market.”

At this point, Durant starts to get fed up and asks Drake if he is even a “real friend,” and accuses him of being a “yes man.” He eventually shows him the actual sneaker, the “candy” colorway of the Nike KD 18. And once again Drake shows love to the sneaker.

Check out the commercial below, as caught by Kurrco on X.

The star duo recently teased an upcoming collab with the hoops star and Drake’s Nocta brand, which is also in the Nike family.

The sneaker is expected to release in Summer 2026 and will retail for $155. No word on how many pairs will be available to the general public. But with Drake and Durant being two of the biggest stars in their respective industries, this will probably be a pair that will go crazy on the resale market.  Accompanying apparel is also expected to be available for purchase.
