Ruff Ryders is ushering in the next chapter after signing up-and-coming Philadelphia artist FakeFree KP in a move that bridges legacy and new-school energy.
Known for shaping some of hip-hop’s grittiest anthems, the iconic collective is leaning into KP’s “Reality Rap” style—raw, unfiltered storytelling rooted in Southwest Philly life and lived experience.
“I rap what I see and what I survived,” KP said, defining his no-frills approach.
Before the signing, KP had already built momentum as an independent, surpassing 1.5M+ streams and sharing stages with names like Meek Mill, Wiz Khalifa, ScarLip, Drumma Boy, Benny TheButcher, and Casanova. He’s also made rounds on platforms including Sway In The Morning, On The Radar, Bars on I-95, DJ Self on Power 105, and DJ Scream’s Got Bars.
With Ruff Ryders behind him, FakeFree KP steps into a new phase aimed at preserving authenticity while pushing the culture forward.
