Claressa Shields isn’t ducking from any smoke that Remy Ma sends her way. After the Bronx native appeared to call her out on a recent verse.
Claressa Shields Appears to Respond to Remy Ma
In a post to her social media account on Monday (June 8), the boxing star said that she isn’t respecting any shots that don’t have her name directly attached.
“I’ve been addressed by name in songs. Maybe like 6 songs now. If a b***h ain’t saying my name, she not dissin me. Cause I’ll 100% diss anybody back! Just say my name like Destiny’s Child!” she wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.

Of course, Shields’ comments led to an outpouring of reactions on social media.
“You have never said her name, nor when you threw shade!!! Just keep it cute now,” one user wrote in the comments section of her post.
“You so press about Remy, you think she dissing you ..you so damn delusional,” a second user chimed in.
“Keep going, sis, don’t let the bs come and go through the fridge,” a third user remarked.
Frech Montana and Max B tapped Remy Ma for the remix of their hit single, Ever Since You Left Me. And in part of her verse, Remy appears to address her split with her estranged husband, Papoose, and takes shots at Claressa in the process.

At one point, Remy Ma and Papoose were the “it” couple in hip-hop culture. Displaying what appeared to be the epitome of black love. But that all changed when the two of them split in 2024 after both of them accused each other of infidelity.
