Lebron James has become notorious for his Hip Hop music taste, especially his lip syncing Instagram stories. However, rarely does he actually reveal definitively what he’s bumping. But in an interview with TIME, he gave fans an insight into his current life soundtrack.
What Is Lebron Listening To?
During the interview, he kept it short and sweet to explain what he’s bumping.
“J. Cole, his whole album The Fall-Off,” James said.
This is no surprise as James has shared his admiration for Cole in the past.
Earlier this year, fans spotted James carrying a vinyl copy of The Fall-Off while arriving ahead of a March game vs. his former team, The Miami Heat. While most people didn’t think much of it, there was more to the story.
Speaking on Carmelo Anthony’s 7PM in Brooklyn podcast, J.Cole explained James had a purpose for bringing the record to the game.
“On his way, he had The Fall-Off vinyl, he brought it so I could sign it,” Cole said.
The linkup resulted from Cole reaching out to James because he planned to attend the Lakers-Heat game with his kids, because his kids are huge Lebron fans.
“My oldest is getting into basketball, Bron is his No. 1, and I hit Bron and he graciously said he would do it,” Cole said. “That s*** was the craziest feeling. To see your kids meet a superhero, that was my first time ever doing some s*** like that. It made me appreciate all the times that there was a father or something that had their kid and I get to sign… an autograph or take a picture.”

Did Lebron Mention Any Other Albums?
One album Lebron didn’t mention was Drake’s diss-heavy Iceman, where the King catches a few strays.
“I shouldn’t even be shocked to see you in that arena/Because you always made your career off of switchin’ teams up,” Drake raps on “Make Them Remember.”
On the same song, Drake levies another diss at Lebron.
“”Please stop askin’ about what’s goin’ on with 23 and me / I’m a real n**** and he’s not, it’s in my DNA.”
Drake and Lebron used to be mad love, but now they have bad blood. This stems from Lebron showing support to Kendrick Lamar by attending his pop out concert and playing “Not Like Us,” a song in which Drake is accused of pedophilia, many times on Instagram.
Lebron has not gone deep on what went down with Drake, but he did post JAY-Z’s Drake diss from Roots Picnic.
He also hasn’t reposted, nor lip synced Iceman in public, which, knowing Lebron, appears to be intentional since it’s the number one album in the world right now.
