Benzino was arrested in Georgia earlier this month following a traffic stop on Interstate 75, according to police records.
Authorities say the former Love & Hip Hop star and rapper was pulled over on June 9 after allegedly driving 91 mph in a 70-mph zone. During the stop, officers reportedly learned Scott’s driver’s license was suspended and allegedly discovered marijuana after detecting an odor coming from inside the SUV.
Police say Benzino was taken into custody and booked into the Crisp County Jail. A passenger in the vehicle, identified as Ruth Lewis, was also arrested after reportedly claiming ownership of marijuana found in the SUV.
Additional court records were not immediately available.
