Drake is set to celebrate his hit single ‘Janice STFU’ with Janices from all over the country. But Ice Cube’s son, O’Shea Jackson Jr, has a warning for all of the potential attendees.
Ice Cube’s Son Warns Potential Drake Party Attendees
In a post to his social media account on Thursday (June 25), Drake made a call to action to all of the women named Janice. Asking them to come celebrate with him.
“All my Janices New York, Los Angeles, Miami, Toronto, and Houston look for my invitation on Sunday,” he said in a post caught by Kurrco on X.
However, Jackson warned all of the prospective women that the invitation could be a setup.
“To any chick named Janice who’s on the run for anything….this is a trap. They did the same thing to Washington Redskins fans in 1985, lmfaooo look it up,” he wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter, on Friday (June 26).

The Washington Redskins reference appears to be a nod to Operation Flagship. This was a sting operation curated by the U.S. Marshals and the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan Police Department in 1985. Authorities successfully arrested 101 wanted fugitives by luring them to the Washington Convention Center with the promise of free NFL tickets.
Of course, Jackson’s warning sent social media into an uproar.
“Nobody in the country named Janice has a muddy record. You’re from Malibu,” one user wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.
“I had to look that up. That Redskins stunt was slick. Janice has nothing to worry about, though,” a second user chimed in.
“If you’re on the run and you go there, then they were gonna catch you anyway,” a third user remarked.
No details about the party have been released. But the invited guests are supposed to get their invitations this Sunday (June 28).
