One thing about Jim Jones is that he has never been short of confidence. And that was apparent during a recent appearance on the No Funny S**t podcast.
Jim Jones Calls Out Mase & Lloyd Banks
During a recent episode, he had a lot of smoke for former rap star Mase. And said that he believes that he would “bully” him if they went into the studio right now.
“I’d smoke Mase boots right now. I’m not even trying to be funny. I’ll bully him in the studio,” he said.
However, he followed up his comments by noting that Mase doesn’t really make music anymore. So it wouldn’t be fair.
One of the hosts then notes that there are still some lyrical people from Jim’s era who could still make noise in the booth. And mentions former G-Unit rapper, Lloyd Banks. But Jim wasn’t in agreement with his statement either.
“Lloyd Banks ??? Are you still listening to him ?? I’m just saying, bro. What does he have now? There are 8 people in this room. Does anybody know what new music Lloyd Banks dropped ?? What are we talking about then?” he said of the rapper.

Of course, users in the comments section had a lot to say about Jim’s comments.
“I fw Jim Jones and Banks’ music, but Banks would smoke Jim. To say Banks don’t drop is ignorance. Ya’ll niggas just not listening,” one person wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.
“Still worrying about what others who are not artists themselves think or feel, I see lol. Jim Jones will never, and I mean never, reach Lloyd Banks’ level,” a second user chimed in.
At the time of writing, neither Mase nor Lloyd Banks has responded to Jim’s comments.
