For the most part, JAY-Z’s Yankee Stadium celebration has gone on without a hitch. However, on the third night of the festivities, many fans are being left in the dark…literally.
What Happened At The JAY-Z Show?
As show time loomed, multiple reports from jilted concert goers reported they hadn’t even made it into the stadium.
“People are throwing up, fainting and asking for medics at the the Jay Z show. This is insane, inhuman and very dangerous. Police arent doing anything @Yankees aren’t doing anything,” one user reported.
“THOUSANDS of people are stuck in line outside of the Jay-Z concert at @yankeestadium. The show started an hour & a half ago and now the gates to all entrances are closed. They have been for over 30 minutes. So far have heard 2 people ask for medics,” another user posted.
“bro they’ve f***** closed all access to the stadium this is an absolute mess,” another user posted.
Several fans are now speculating the show will get canceled, as Yankee Stadium has an 11:00PM curfew for entry. Mayor Mamdani would have to extend the curfew to allow the show to continue.

Why Did This Happen?
Reports have surfaced that thousands of people got in free at last night’s show when a crowd rushed the gate and overpowered the staff. Reportedly, this happened again earlier today. Therefore, after this, they became much more strict with security and shutdown certain gates. This has slowed the process and led to the current predicament.
Unofficial reports have surfaced that the show is trending towards cancellation, though this is just rumors.
As of this posting, the concert has not yet began.
