Memphis Bleek was a guest on Power 105.1’s The Breakfast Club on Tuesday (July 14). And he had some harsh words for G-Unit member Tony Yayo.
Memphis Bleek Goes Scorched Earth on Tony Yayo
During the interview, Bleek was asked his thoughts on Tony Yayo’s past claims that Jay-Z doesn’t help any of the people around him like Memphis Bleek in the way that 50 Cent does with people in G-Unit. And he didn’t hold back in his response.
“N***s can’t compete, that’s why they talk like that. If 50 sat for one year, then n****s would be in a shelter,” Bleek said. “He shouldn’t be allowed to talk about us or anybody else when you literally are a dependent. That s**t is insane to me, man.”

Bleek doubles down and talks about how he has several business ventures apart from Jay-Z. So he doesn’t really need to be taken care of.
This is not the first time that Bleek has addressed Yayo over his claims. During a 2025 appearance on Jim Jones’ Artist 2 Artist podcast, he also clapped back at Yayo’s comments. And said that he does not need Jay-Z’s assistance. Because he has his own platform and his own motion.
“I’m chewing a lot on my own,” Bleek said “If Hov looks out, I’m telling you, I’ll be up there. So when y’all see me out here, that’s the Blizzo budget. I just want to let n***as know Hov don’t have to.”
He also added: “These n****s are worrying about who’s taking care of who. We lit. We’re getting money.”
At the time of writing, Tony Yayo has not responded to Bleek’s comments.
