Tory Lanez is back in album mode. And he is set to bless fans with an abundance of new music.
Tory Lanez Announces New Double-Disc Project
In a post to his social media account on Tuesday (July 14), the rap star announced that he is set to release a double-disc album. The project will release this Friday (July 17).
“MADE YOU THINK I WAS GONE…BUT 7.17 DISC 1: RAP DISC 2: R&B PRE-SAVE NOW. LINK IN BIO,” the rap star wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter, on Tuesday.
Disc One features 11 songs, and Disc Two features 12. And there are no features on either of the projects. The tracklist also features a cryptic message.
“When the world turns your back on you, you turn your back on the world,” the message reads.

Of course, fans on social media went crazy with reactions after Lanez made the announcement.
“Bro dropping more music in jail than most artists that are free,” one fan wrote.
“Sad that the only mf who can save hip hop is in prison for shit he didn’t do,” a second user chimed in.
“Dude recorded like a thousand joints before he went in! So we be steady feasting,” a third user remarked.
Lanez is currently locked up for shooting rap star Megan Thee Stallion in the foot during an altercation that occurred after a pool party hosted by reality star Kylie Jenner in 2020. In 2024, the rap star was sentenced to ten years in prison for the assault. Despite being charged with the crime, Tory and many of his contemporaries in the music industry continue to maintain his innocence.
