Dame Dash sat down for another interview with Art of Dialogue, and of course, one of the topics that came up was Jay-Z.

Dame Says Jay-Z Is Not in The ‘Same League’ As Ye

This past weekend, while Jay-Z was performing three sold-out nights at Yankee Stadium, Kanye West was performing in front of a sold-out crowd in Tirana, Albania. Which prompted the interviewer to ask Dame to weigh in on Ye vs. Jay-Z. In his response, Dame says that Hov is not in the “same league” as Ye.  

“To me, Jay is a big fish in a very little pond. And he stays frontin on the hood. Kanye is a real rockstar; he is not even in the same league,” Dame said to the outlet. “A real rockstar tours all over the world, and has a globe on a stage. That costs $2 million a show, no sponsors.”

He also says that what Kanye does is more impressive. Because he does it at such a high level with no corporate sponsorships.

“Kanye sells out with everybody corporate not f***in with him. He does it completely independently; he doesn’t have to wear a Yankee uniform, Nike’s not giving him any sponsorships,” he added.

Dame also went on to say that Kanye sells “quadruple” what Jay-Z sells.

"Jay is not in the same league as Kanye.”

Dame Dash says Jay-Z stays fronting on the hood while reacting to Jay-Z’s Yankee Stadium shows, and calls Jay-Z a big fish in a very little pond.

Of course, Dame’s comments went viral, which led to a lot of reactions from fans on social media.

“Dame is right… shit feels like a show… keeping it real!” one user wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.

“Never in my life did I think I’d see Dame go out this bad… sad s**t man,” a second user chimed in.

At the time of writing, Jay-Z has not responded to Dame Dash’s remarks.
