Lil Wayne is one of several new faces getting their names etched in history on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame. However, despite all his accolades, Weezy didn’t believe it.
What Did Lil Wayne Say?
Last week, the Hollywood Walk of Fame announced their class of 2027. Some of the key names added include Delroy Lindo, Raven Symone, Grandmaster Flash, Cheech & Chong, Keke Palmer, David Alan Grier, and more. But one key name is the legendary Louisiana rapper Lil Wayne.
But Wayne didn’t believe the news at all, talking about his reaction on social media.
“Ok so my brother is Fabian right, and he play too fkn much like brothers do,” Lil Wayne posted. “This man just told me that it’s been confirmed that im getting my own star on the Hollywood walk of fame!!!! Wtf boy!! This man play too much bruh! U serious boy??!?!?!!?”
Fans flocked to Wayne’s page to send their best regards.
“Weezy F Baby and the F stands for finally getting his flowers,” one user posted.
“If they’re just getting you a star now. It’s an insult cos it’s long overdue!! You’ve been the GOAT since inception,” another user posted.
“Man Weezy this s*** doesn’t surprise me. You the f***** GOAT & they should be asking you for permission to put your name there. You may even need to consider to refuse it. You don’t even deserve to be under nobody dawg. Glazy but true,” another user posted.
Wayne could use a pick me up as he recently broke things off with his alleged fiancee. In a public story, he said he didn’t want to burden her and that things became difficult as rumors began to spread. However, he’s denied that they were ever engaged.
