Westside Gunn is no stranger to riling people up. On his birthday, he revealed to the world a new tattoo that has people turning heads.
What Is Westside Gunn’s Tattoo?
Gunn showed off his new tattoo while celebrating his birthday, which he happens to share with the late great Young Dolph.
“HBD TO THE GOATS @youngdolph X SUPER FLYGOD,” Westside Gunn posted. “LOVE & PEACE TO EVERYBODY WHO BEEN SHOWING LOVE I BEEN SEEING IT ALL …. IM THANKFUL.”
In the Instagram carousel, Gunn dropped an artistic rendition of Dolph with a third eye, along with stunting in a robe, drinking perriot, and a video indulging in cake.
When social media got wind of the post, the comments were divided, with some praising Gunn for honoring a legend, and others wondering why another man’s face is on his thigh.
“Dame dash somewhere like u put a man face on ya thigh pause,” one user posted.
“Why do rappers always have the worst tattoo artists? All that money and you went to some basement scratcher that cant even draw,” another user posted.
“Rip dolph but getting another man face tatted on u that ain’t your immediate family is insane,” another user posted.
Others came to Gunn’s defense, wondering why people cared so much.
“Replies crazy af cause it’s n***** worried bout what another man did with his body that’s insane. Tf does it have to do with your life??????? Literally NOTHING! Neither one of them n***** even knew/know you exist in this world,” one user posted.

The Status Of Griselda
Of course, fans were in the comments asking about Gunn’s relationship with Conway.
“You and Con good? The fans just want unity in the community,” one user posted.
This stems from Conway recent freestyle to Drake’s “Make Them Pay,” where he details a meeting with JAY-Z, Benny The Butcher, and Westside Gunn that didn’t go well.
“Dinner with HOV, he said, dawg give ya brother a piece. I saw it in his eyes right then, he doesn’t want me to eat,” he raps on the track.
Elsewhere on the track, he talks about how a trip to Greece last summer really allowed him to reflect on his rap career. And the role that him being a part of Griselda played in it.
“I did a lot of reflecting when I spent last summer in Greece. Thinking, if I weren’t for Griselda, what would I be? Or what would Griselda be if it weren’t for me? I used to want the rap glory, but all I want is my peace.”
Podcaster Mal also corroborated the information, saying the way Conway raps it is what he heard through the grapevine. Prior to this, Conway asserted he was working on music with the original Griselda crew, but it’s been crickets since then.
