Moments after Duane “Keefe D” Davis was found guilty in connection with Tupac Shakur’s murder, a longtime associate of the late rapper raised questions about other figures he believes deserve scrutiny.
Young Mass, also known as MassV and affiliated with Digital Underground, suggested that investigators should take a closer look at people and companies he says “profited off of Tupac’s death.” He specifically named Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Jay-Z and Interscope Records while discussing possible co-conspirators or individuals he believes warrant further examination.
His comments immediately sparked conversation online, though he did not provide evidence tying any of the people or companies he named to Tupac’s murder.
The remarks are especially notable because attorney Alex Spiro, who has represented Jay-Z, is also currently connected to Tupac Shakur’s estate.
For now, Young Mass’ statements remain allegations and personal suspicions rather than established findings, but they add another layer of controversy to the conversation surrounding Tupac’s death following the Keefe D verdict.
