Days after 21 Savage’s arrest and subsequent ICE detainment for being an alleged illegal immigrant, law enforcement authorities claim that a car belonging to 21 Savage had a fully loaded Glock in at the time of his arrest this past Sunday (Feb. 3). TMZ reported this new development.
According to TMZ 21 Savage, who was reportedly arrested at the same time as Young Nudy, was “driving recklessly” before almost slamming into a marked cop car. That’s when police stopped a red Dodge Challenger and, upon searching the vehicle, they reportedly found that the car’s glove compartment contained a Glock with an extended magazine. 21 was apparently taken away by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) shortly thereafter.
This news comes one day after Jay-Z hired lawyer Alex Spiro to represent 21 Savage during the rapper’s efforts to be let loose from ICE custody. Jay spoke on the matter in an official statement.
“In addition to being a successful recording artist, Savage deserves to be reunited with his children immediately,” Hov said in the statement.
