For his next act, Blueface Baby is preparing to enter the squared circle. And his opponent is a former NBA champion.
Blueface Set to Fight Nick Young in Boxing Match
Per an exclusive report from AllHipHop, Blueface will go one-on-one with former Golden State Warriors guard Nick Young.
The two were initially scheduled to square off back in July 2022, but it did not come to fruition after the rap artist ran into issues with the California State Athletic Commission. But now the bout is back on for March 2026, according to the outlet.
Young’s boxing career consists of one exhibition fight in September 2022 against Malcolm Minikon, which ended in a no-contest due to an accidental headbutt.
Blueface, on the other hand, has significantly more experience when it comes to the squared circle. The rap artist made his in-ring debut in 2021 against Kane Trujillo, whom he defeated by majority decision. He later defeated TikToker Ed Matthews via TKO in 2023.
The rap artist’s reported match comes fresh off a brief prison stint.
Blueface was arrested in 2024 on a probation violation charge stemming from a 2021 assault. Because of his violation, he was sentenced to four years in prison. But after spending a little more than a year behind bars, he is once again a free man.
Now he is ready to exercise his aggressions more constructively.
No official date or location for the reported bout has been announced. Stay tuned for more updates.
