Young Thug is skating on thin ice when it comes to his probation. A new video clip shows that he nearly went back to prison after an encounter with a police officer back in February.

Body cam footage of the Lifestyle creator being pulled over by Miami police. And the officer stopped the rapper going nearly double the speed limit. Driving 83 mph in a 45 mph zone.
Thankfully, the officer who pulled him over was a lot more lax than most officers. But he does alert the rap star to the fact that he could have been arrested for driving that fast.
To make matters worse, Thugger was also driving with a suspended license. Citing “financial responsibilities” as the reason for the suspension. Thugger seems confused about what the financial responsibilities are. And the officers suggest that it could be due to unpaid child support or insurance.

Once the clip went viral on social media, fans went crazy with their reactions.
“Rappers never having licenses or they be suspended always kills me cause HOW? ” You’re rich as hell, get a driver or something,” one user wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.
“Must have known who he was, cuz gettin a citation for going 83 in a 45 is unheard of,” a second user chimed in.
“Do American celebrities not know the law, or do they choose to break it intentionally? I mean, jail is no fun,” a third user added.
Thug is currently serving a 15-year probation sentence for his role in the YSL Rico trial. And even the smallest mishap could land him back in prison for the remainder of his sentence.
Thankfully, he was able to avoid catastrophe.
