Dee-1 is speaking out after a confrontation tied to his latest music video shoot in Atlanta.
According to Dee-1, he was threatened with arrest by the owner of Pink Pony after filming a video protesting strip club culture outside the venue. The rapper took to Instagram to share a screenshot of a message he says came from the club’s owner, Mike Kap.
In the alleged DM, Kap warned Dee-1 that he had been issued a criminal trespass notice and would be arrested if he returned to the property.
Dee-1 responded publicly in his caption, writing, “STRIP CLUB OWNER THREATENS TO GET ME ARRESTED,” while also challenging the message behind strip club culture. He added, “I’M GLAD YOU SAW THE VIDEO, NOW I WANT YOU TO ASK YOURSELF WOULD YOU WANT YOUR DAUGHTER ON THAT POLE?”
The video is tied to his song “Shut Em Down,” which appears to take aim at the strip club industry and has already sparked strong reactions online.
The situation has since ignited debate across social media, with fans weighing in on Dee-1’s stance and the club owner’s response.
