Bad Boy Records founder, Sean “Diddy” Combs, got more good news regarding his May 2025 Mann Act Conviction.
Diddy’s Prison Sentence Gets Reduced Again
His sentence was reduced by roughly two months. He was slated to be released on April 25, 2028. However, according to a Tuesday (June 16) report from USA Today, that date has now been moved up to February 23, 2028.
The Federal Bureau of Prisons did not detail to the outlet why his sentence had been reduced.
In September 2024, Diddy was swept up by the feds in New York City, over allegations of trafficking, racketeering, and prostitution. In 2025, he was convicted of interstate prostitution of his former girlfriend and label artist, Cassie Ventura. As well as another Jane Doe. It had long been speculated that the Jane Doe who had testified against him was his former girlfriend, Daphne Joy. That was confirmed a few weeks ago, when an explicit video of Joy, Combs, and another man surfaced online.
Following the leak of their sex tape, Joy released a statement. In the statement, she asserts that she “never consented” to being filmed by the music mogul. As for why she chose to participate? Daphne says that she was trying to keep Diddy happy at the time. And called herself a “fool” for doing so.
“Everybody plays the fool sometimes, and I have been the biggest fool,” she wrote. “I just wanted my man at the time to be happy and satisfied… I wanted to fulfill all his desires, even if that meant breaking my own boundaries,” she said in a statement caught by DJ Vlad on X.
Diddy has not responded to the leak of the tape.
