Domani recently revealed that he kept his 50 Cent diss track a secret from his father, T.I., before releasing it during the ongoing back-and-forth involving the family and 50 Cent.
In a preview clip from an interview on The Breakfast Club shared on Thursday (March 5), Domani explained that he never discussed the song with T.I. beforehand because he anticipated his father might have strong opinions about it.
“We really didn’t have no conversation,” Domani said. “Because he probably would have had some input and I would have to choose to ignore him or go my own route. So, I just put it out.”
According to Domani, several people who heard the track before its release encouraged him to drop it, telling him the record was too strong to keep unreleased.
The song, titled “Ms. Jackson,” arrived last week amid a wave of diss tracks aimed at 50 Cent from members of T.I.’s family. On the track, Domani delivers sharp bars directed at the G-Unit boss, even referencing 50 Cent’s late mother in a controversial line. The record quickly added fuel to the ongoing Hip-Hop feud that has been dominating conversation across social media.
