Fresh off the release of his latest album, October, Don Toliver already has his sights set on the future. And it involves rap legends Andre 3000 and Jay-Z.
Don Toliver Eyeing Jay-Z, Andre 3000 Collab in The Future
During a recent sit-down with Michael Saponara of Billboard, Toliver expressed his desire to collaborate with Hov and Three Stacks in the future.
Additionally, he says that he would be interested in doing a hook for a pop star. Referencing Sabrina Carpenter and Tate McRae.
“What I like about pop these days is it’s mad clever. When we were growing up, it didn’t have to be articulated. It’s great, say something,” he said to the outlet.

Toliver released his fifth studio album, Octane, on January 30. And so far, it has been received well by fans.
When speaking to Billboard about Octane, Toliver gave major props to Travis Scott. He says that he was an integral part of the album. He says that when others close to him would tell him that Travis was feeling the new project, it gave him “hope.”
“The way I feel like [Scott] received [OCTANE] was the way I feel like when I first used to just send him unreleased music when I was just fresh off of ‘Can’t Say,’ ” he says. “I was just sending him hella music. And I would always hear from people, like, ‘Trav’s been playing the s–t,’ and it used to just give me hope. I feel in that same era right now. He was really right there with me.”
The project debuted in the top spot of the Billboard 200 in February, moving 162,000 equivalent album units in its first week. Marking the highest sales week of the rapper’s career.
