Drake has come under fire recently for allegedly stealing beats from rappers for his new albums. 1900 Rugrat began the charge, accusing Drake of biting his intro for “Little Birdie.” However, another rapper has shed light on the 6God’s alleged biting.

What Rapper Accused Drake Of Stealing?

UK rapper SunnyBoyFitz posted a now unlisted Instagram reel where he played his track back to back with Drake’s “BBW.” The songs each use a classic sample from singer Denise Belfon. But the real controversy lies with the structure, arrangement, and bassline, as both songs have distorted 808s and a similar use to the sample.

“I dont know am i trippin? #drake #newdrake,” SunnyBoyFitz posted.

While it appears Sunny is walking back his assertion, as you can’t view the video on his reels page but it comes up in search, it didn’t take long for Drake defenders and detractors to come out of the woodwork.

“This ain’t your song either 😂 this was a tune before you was even born…. Tf!,” one user posted.

“My man, that sample is been used way before 2025 not only the voice but the drum pattern on it. I have it in an old khsmr pack from like 2010. The original sample is from Denise Belfon – ‘Work,'” another user posted.

“That’s a very Drake thing to do trust me” another user posted.

“Whenever u sample something u didn’t clear, they steal ot knowing u can’t sue em cuz u technically don’t own the song. Its as if they target them… I say this from experience dealing w/ that same camp,” another user posted.

other users were quick to point out that one of Drake’s main producers, Gordo (formally known as Carnage) has an alleged history of biting other songs.

“He continues to work with Gordo though,” another user posted. “Same producer that’s already been caught this week on another Drake track and several before. And Drake has his own track record of stealing shit. The problem is he clearly doesn’t care.”

“It was Gordo specifically who did this, Gordo had to change his name from Carnage as he was exposed in the EDM scene for having ‘Ghost Producers’ so him stealing really is not surprising,” another user posted.

The accusations against Gordo are alleged and have no confirmation outside of rumors and hearsay.

Who Else Is Upset With Drake?

In addition to SunnyBoyFitz, 1900 Rugrat also called out the 6God for allegedly biting his intro track to use for “Little Birdie.” In a TikTok video, Rugrat explained the situation.

“Drake, you got me f***** up bro,” Rugrat said. “When I made the intro to my first album a year and a half ago, Drake was hitting me up at the time and wanted to hear music. So i sent 10 songs to him, but they was all finna be on my album. I didn’t want nobody to steal my s***.

Rugrat alleges Drake still wanted to work with him, offering to send a verse. However, according to Rugrat, no verse came.

Fast forward a year later and Rugrat is listening to Iceman, when he gets to Little Birdie he hears something familiar.

“I listened to “Little Birdie,” and “I went back and listened to the intro of my first album. Twin, that’s the only beat I sat down and produced, don’t rip my s*** and repitch it like that. That’s fried. That’s fried and f***** up twin.”

Rugrat then added more evidence to his story by dropping Instagram DM screenshots with Drake. In the messages, Drake sends praise to Rugrat and specifically mentions he loves the intro. However, he says that if Rugrat already using it for his album, then they’ll cook something else up.
