Drake has found himself in the middle of another explosive lawsuit. Except this time, he will play the role of defendant in this case.
Drake & Adin Ross Facing Legal Dispute Over Gambling Partnership
According to sports betting and gaming lawyer Daniel Wallach, Drake, along with streaming superstar Adin Ross, is being sued over their partnership with the popular betting entity, Stake.
The lawsuit rips the rap star’s role of “unofficial mascot” for the brand, calling it “corrosive.” Noting that he often posts his outlandish bets on social media. But the reality is that he is not using his own money to fund his bets. Instead, he is betting with “house money” while “millions of impressionable fans”
“Drake’s role as Stake’s unofficial mascot is quietly corrosive. He’s glamorizing the platform to millions of impressionable fans, many of whom treat his wild betting habits like gospel,” the filing reads.
“What makes it even more unsettling is that Stake apparently fronts Drake and Ross ‘house money,’ so any reported losses are part of a marketing tactic designed to draw attention. Stake’s influencer marketing, especially through Drake and Ross, is directed, among others, at teenagers in Missouri and in other states.”

The filing also adds that Ross and Drizzy “Knew that they took this money wrongfully, given their fraudulent intent and Missouri’s statewide ban on online casino gambling.”
As a result, the plaintiffs are seeking “an order of equitable disgorgement against defendants.”
Drake and Adis Ross have not responded to the filing at the time of writing.
This is the second major lawsuit Drake has been involved with in 2025. Earlier this year, he filed a defamation case against UMG over the distribution of Kendrick Lamar’s song, Not Like Us. But ultimately, the judge dismissed Drake’s case.
Following the dismissal, a spokesperson for the rap star spoke out and said that Drake and his legal team intend to appeal the decision.
