Drake has created plenty of discourse with the release of his new album Iceman. Some people have given it props, but others have criticized the 6God, especially when it comes to the other two albums.

Who Is Criticizing Drake’s Albums

The hosts of the NFR Podcast seemed baffled by Drake’s other two album releases Habibti and Maid Of Honour, inferring that the lack of quality shocked them.

“He’s lost his ear for melody,” the host said. “He’s completely lost it, he’s lost the ability to know when his vocals actually sound good or not. I can’t think of a song where his vocals are just raw. He has such a good singing voice…you’re just drowning in autotune for no reason. It was a disaster, from a vocal performance standpoint, super lazy, unenthused. There was never a hook where I went ‘yo I could hear this on the radio.’ From two Drake albums? That’s weird.

The Canadian podcast have been fans of Drake for awhile, but it seems his effort on the other two albums didn’t satisfy their ears.

Fans had mixed feelings about the clip.

“You know it’s bad when these guys say this,” one user posted.

“7 hours in btw how can you have these takes when there has barely been time to listen to all 3,” another user posted.

“Dumb take ngl, these albums are incredible idk what bros on about,” another user posted. “Everyone’s eating, clubs, rap, house. Nobody can argue the influence.”

“I’m going to see the doctor tomorrow because these albums gave me an ear infection,” another user posted.

What Other Controversies Are Happening Around His Albums?

Drake is being called out by 1900 Rugrat for allegedly stealing song ideas for “Little Birdie.” In a TikTok video, Rugrat explained the situation.

“Drake, you got me f***** up bro,” Rugrat said. “When I made the intro to my first album a year and a half ago, Drake was hitting me up at the time and wanted to hear music. So i sent 10 songs to him, but they was all finna be on my album. I didn’t want nobody to steal my s***.

Rugrat claims that Drake still wanted him on the album and offered to send a verse, but 6God did not send anything.

Fast forward a year later and Rugrat is listening to Iceman, when he gets to Little Birdie he hears something familiar.

“I listened to “Little Birdie,” and “I went back and listened to the intro of my first album. Twin, that’s the only beat I sat down and produced, don’t rip my s*** and repitch it like that. That’s fried. That’s fried and f***** up twin.”

Rugrat then added more evidence to his story by dropping Instagram DM screenshots with Drake. In the messages, Drake sends praise to Rugrat and specifically mentions he loves the intro. However, he says that if Rugrat already using it for his album, then they’ll cook something else up.
