Drake, Iheart Radio Settle ‘Not Like Us’ Lawsuit
One of the companies that Drake brought under fire was Iheart Radio. However, according to Rolling Stone, Drake has settled his dispute with the radio station. “
“Petitioner and iHeartMedia, Inc. have reached an amicable resolution of the dispute. To the satisfaction of both sides,” the filing obtained by Rolling Stone reads.
One source also told the outlet that Drake admitted that Iheart Radio did “nothing wrong,” concerning their promotion of the song. And that no payments were made by either side.
“In exchange for documents that showed iHeart did nothing wrong, Drake agreed to drop his petition. No payments were made – by either one of us,” the source said.
“We are pleased that the parties were able to reach a settlement satisfactory to both sides and have no further comment on this matter.”
The song Not Like Us turned into a nightmare for Drake. What initially started as a singular hit that Kendrick aimed toward Drizzer turned into a global anthem. Not Like Us went from club banger to marching band favorite to eventually closing out the Super Bowl. The song also took home five awards at the 2025 Grammys this past February.
However, it appears that Drake is ready to move on from the spat between him and Kendrick Completely. He just dropped a new album with Party Next Door titled, $ext $ongs 4 U that debuted in the top spot on the music charts.
