Drake is amid the rollout of his ninth studio album, Iceman. The project was originally set to drop before the end of this year. But with less than a week left in 2025, it does not appear that it will come to fruition.
Drake Sends Warning to Industry Ahead of ‘Iceman’ Drop
Drake may have missed the mark on his initial timeline, but it sounds like the upcoming project will be worth the wait. In the latest Iceman update, the rapper warned rappers to tread lightly ahead of his forthcoming drop.
“I’m going on a last recording trip… There’s plenty to talk about. We’ll talk about it,” he said as heard through Kurrco on X..” “ICEMAN coming soon, y’all boys better duck and get out of the way.”
With the anticipation building for the latest Drizzy drop, fans were hyped about the update.
“ICEMAN WILL BE A RECORD BREAKER,” one user said on X, formerly known as Twitter.
“Tell all these people on these platforms when this album drops, I’m going to be a mess on here,” another user added.

Drizzy has used his YouTube channel to host a series of Iceman episodes. During the episodes, he has premiered singles such as What Did I Miss? and Which One?
After receiving raving reviews about the series, Drake told Complex that the finale of the series will be his “best work yet.”
He also spoke about how the idea of using livestreams to premiere his new music came about. It stemmed from him wanting to “challenge” himself on this next album.
“I have been dying to act and have been dying for a challenge,” he told the outlet. “The game is extremely calm seas right now. Nobody is rocking any boat on the water, and so once we discussed a live stream rollout, it just sounded like the perfect mix of risk and reward for me.”
Sounds like Iceman is going to be a classic.
