Frank Ocean has once again sent fans into a frenzy—this time thanks to a mysterious billboard spotted near Coachella Valley.

According to Rolling Stone, the billboard popped up in the Colorado Desert, simply reading: “KIKI BOY 2025.”
The cryptic message comes on the heels of the discovery of what many believe to be Ocean’s finsta account, @kikiboyyyyyyy. The account has stirred up theories of a possible third album, especially given its profile picture: Michael Jordan holding up three fingers—a likely nod to a forthcoming third project.
Fueling speculation even more, @kikiboyyyyyyy only follows eight accounts, including Ocean’s official @Blonded, and major artists like SZA, Kendrick Lamar, and Ariana Grande. Among the followers is producer Michael Uzowuru, who revealed to The New York Times last year that he and Ocean had been working on new music.
Frank Ocean hasn’t released an album since his critically acclaimed projects Blonde and Endless in August of 2016. With Coachella just around the corner—set for April 11–13 and 18–20—fans are wondering if Ocean is planning a return.
His last Coachella appearance in 2023 was highly anticipated but ended in controversy. Ocean showed up an hour late, skipped the livestream, and ultimately canceled his second weekend set.
According to a source who spoke with Rolling Stone, a last-minute leg injury forced Ocean to scrap key production elements. “There were a lot of production [elements] that Frank planned that at the last minute didn’t pan out,” they said. “That threw everything off, so it was a scramble after that.”
