As fans morn the death of Mobb Deep’s lyrical frontman Prodigy, his partner in rhyme Havoc breaks his silence and gives a 3 minute interview with TMZ during this tough time. Havoc states that Prodigy going to the hospital frequently was something that he was used to. Havoc says that Prodigy going to the hospital was a routine thing that has been going on for 20 or so years and it was never serious.
Havoc expresses how shocking the news was to him because he just knew this was another ruin hospital visit and he is always aware of Prodigy’s health status. The two friends have known one another since they were 15 years old and have probably spent more time with one another than they have with their own families. Havoc was the production side of Mobb Deep but he still rocked the mic as well. At this point in time Havoc says that he can’t even listen to any Mobb Deep music at the moment and he was in the car with his kids when he heard the devastating news of Prodigy’s passing.
