The Los Angeles Rams are preparing for the NFL Draft this Thursday (April 23). And they tapped two heirs to help them spread the word.
Ice Cube & Chris Tucker’s Sons Recreate ‘Friday’ Scene
In a video shared by 2Cool2Blog on X, the Rams employed Ice Cube’s son, O’Shea Jackson Jr., and Chris Tucker’s son, Destin Christopher Tucker. To recreate the scene from Cube and Tucker’s iconic movie, Friday.
The promotion features Jackson Jr (Craig) and Tucker (Smokey) decked out in Rams gear. And Destin entices Jackson Jr to come to Draft House because “It’s Thursday and we ain’t got s**t to do.” And O’Shea accepts the invite.
Actor Terry Crews plays the role of neighborhood bully Deebo. And rapper YG plays the role of Ice Cube’s next-door neighbor Stanley.

Earlier in 2025, Ice Cube confirmed that the next and final installment of the Friday Franchise is already in its developmental stages. And confirmed that famed television writer, Aaron McGruder, would be one of the people writing the film.
“Me, Ice Cube, Aaron McGruder, and DJ Pooh were just together sitting in a room writing this movie. The movie [is going to] be crazy,” he said.
In case you’re not familiar, McGruder is the creator behind the iconic television series The Boondocks. The show became famous for tackling political and pop culture issues in the early 2000s. Epps says that McGruder teaming up with him and Ice Cube will bring a level of “top-tier” writing to the film.
“That’s top-tier writing, and I think that’s why Ice Cube went and got him [because] he’s going to bring that to the movie,” the comedian added. “And [that’s] not to say that we [weren’t going to] make it hot as we’ve always made it hot, but this is [going to] give it another extension.”
