The Joe Budden, Mal, Rory split has left a lot of bad blood in Hip Hop media, with both taking shots at each other in the past. But sometimes, majorly concerning health events can put the whole situation in perspective.
What Did Joe Budden Say About Rory?
Over the weekend, Rory revealed that he suffered a stroke, despite only being 36 year old. While on his way to the JAY-Z Reasonable Doubt 30th Anniversary Pop up, Rory left the parking garage and collapsed while walking out. Shockingly, he was able to recover and go into the event. While in there, he realized something was still wrong and hasn’t given details on what happened next.
Shockingly, despite the ordeal, he kept a solid sense of humor about it.
“What if my triggers are JAY-Z,” he joked with Mal.
His former boss Joe Budden got word of the situation and despite the messy breakup between the three, offered his support.
“I spoke to him via text, but I got scared for him,” Budden said. “That s*** ain’t no joke man. Rory I’m glad you alright, I hope you alright. I’m praying for you, I love you.”
It just goes to show that no matter how deep beef is, the gift of human life, and the threat of losing it, can put things into perspective.
