Kanye West is reportedly gearing up for a rare international return, with plans to make his live debut in India in April 2026. While dates and venues are still unconfirmed, the appearance would mark a milestone in West’s touring career—and come amid a fraught period for the artist, whose global shows have been limited in recent years following backlash over a series of antisemitic comments.
Despite having never hosted a concert in India, the Grammy-winning rapper is no stranger to the region. In 2009, he reportedly visited an ashram during a period of spiritual reflection. Three years later, he traveled to Mumbai to launch his menswear fashion line, staying at the iconic Taj Mahal Palace while promoting the brand.
Since then, the landscape around Ye’s live performances has shifted dramatically. Slovakia’s Rubicon Festival removed him from its July 2025 lineup, while South Korean organizers reportedly cut ties with the artist in May 2025 following the release of his controversial track “Heil Hitler.” In the Czech Republic, public condemnation from Prague’s mayor effectively closed the door on performances in the capital.
If his trek to India stands, Kanye West is slated to enjoy a pretty decent run at the international stage this year, with a booked performance at RCF Arena in Reggio Emilia, Italy this July—his first confirmed European show since 2014.
The reported India appearance also aligns with renewed attention around West’s long-delayed album Bully, which is now slated for release on January 30 after missing its previously announced June 15, 2025 drop date. If confirmed, this performance would represent a rare and significant expansion of West’s live footprint at a time when his touring future remains under close scrutiny.
