In February, 50 Cent reignited his feud with Jim Jones. And doubled down on his claims that the rap artist owes thousands in unpaid rent.
50 gained access to surveillance video from the building where Jones films his Let’s Rap About It podcast. In the video, Jones appears to be locked out. And ferociously kicks the door until he gains access. 50’s post also included an eviction notice addressed to Joseph Jones, the rapper’s legal name.

Maino Says 50 Cent’s Viral Jim Jones Video is ‘All Cap’
Of course, 50’s post went viral, leading many to believe that what he was saying was factual. But Maino, one of the co-hosts of Jones’ podcast, says that 50’s social media post was “all cap.”
“Everything you saw, all that was cap, though. It was all cap because he has a five-year lease. Okay. He’s completely still building in there every day,” he said during a recent episode of Way Up! With Angela Yee.
50 also claims that he has partnered with Jones’ landlord, and he now owns the building. In addition, the Power creator demanded that Jones repair every door that he damaged trying to break into the studio.
However, Maino brought up an interesting point. Noting that if there was any real issue between Jones and the landlord, they would have already been in court.
“If there was a real issue about the rent, it would be in court. I think that might have gone over people’s heads. If there was a real issue about rent, they would be in court. Nobody’s in court,” he concluded.
At the time of writing, 50 Cent has not responded to Maino’s comments.
