First Big Daddy Kane now Masta Ace?!?!?! NPR’s Tiny Desk Concert went all out for this one. Masta Ace came through with an epic performance with his wonderful band. The set had a jazzy Hip-Hop feel, the musicianship in combination with Ace’s perfect timing and execution made for an amazing performance.
It’s extremely encouraging for the Hip-Hop culture to see an artist of the culture performing at this high of a level at 50 plus years old. This lets us know that this can happen for the genre, retiring in rap is not something that is a must which is something that was previously thought. Thank you Ace.
