Hip-Hop mogul Master P recently opened up about the long-running legal battle involving his brother C-Murder, who has spent more than two decades behind bars.
During a recent conversation, Master P revealed that early in the case there was an opportunity for C-Murder to take a plea deal that would have resulted in an eight-year sentence. According to P, if that deal had been accepted, his brother would likely have already been home by now.
Looking back, Master P admitted that things might have played out differently had that decision been made at the time.
The No Limit founder also spoke candidly about the harsh realities of prison life, explaining that the experience is far more difficult than many people realize. He highlighted how families often continue fighting for their loved ones for years, even decades, in hopes of seeing justice served.
Master P also suggested that fame can sometimes make a person a bigger target within the system, noting that high-profile individuals can face additional scrutiny once their cases enter the legal process.
C-Murder has been incarcerated since the early 2000s following his conviction in connection to a fatal nightclub shooting, and his case has remained a topic of ongoing discussion and appeals over the years.
Master P got honest about his brother C-Murder’s situation after more than 20 years behind bars. He revealed there was a point early on where C-Murder could’ve taken a deal for 8 years — and looking back he believes things might’ve been different if that happened. 😳
