Max B is enjoying his time on the other side of the wall following his release from prison last November. And he says that since his release, he has impacted New York City in a “plethora” of ways. Including the Knicks’ success.
Max B Credits Himself For The Knicks’ Success
In a clip caught by 2Cool2Blog on X, the Harlem native not only credits himself for the Knicks’ success. But he also says that Knicks star Karl-Anthony Towns personally reached out to him. And gave him credit for them winning as well.
“Big KAT wrote me personally. He said ‘Max Biggavel, ever since you came out, the Knicks have been winning two-fold.’ Because they were already lit. So we’re doubling down. Shout out to big KAT. Shout out to Big Body Brunson, shout out to OG Juan …. shout out to the whole m*********n team,” he says in the clip.

It should be noted that when the rapper was released from prison on November 9, the Knicks had a 6-3 overall record and an undefeated 6-0 home record. They were also fresh off a 134-98 blowout victory against their crosstown rival, the Brooklyn Nets.
Whether it’s because of Biggavel or not, one thing is for sure: the Knicks definitely have the city lit. They are in the finals for the first time in 27 years, and just three wins away from securing their first NBA title since 1973.
They will have a chance to take a 2-0 lead in the series in San Antonio on Friday night (June 5) against the Spurs.
