Megan Thee Stallion is gearing up for her Act 3 album and isn’t shy about speaking on its inspirations. One of such is clearly her split from NBA All Star, Klay Thompson.
Megan explained her feelings in a profile written by InStyle.
“I feel like I’ve been put through the washing machine and the dryer with tins, shovels, and a cactus,” Megan said. “It was very rough. If something is constantly making you feel uncomfortable, just on edge all the time, you probably are not supposed to be there. God will always make you uncomfortable when something is not meant for you. I think I just kept trying to make pieces fit that didn’t belong, trying to fit myself into someone else’s life. I was losing myself a little bit, I am now in the space of finding me again.
She continued.
“You will not disrespect me. And you will be thankful. Period. I’m not a person who is in the house 24-7. I’m never going to be that. And whoever dates me is gonna have to just understand. I cannot be minimized, I will not be behind any man. I will have a partner, I will be equals with my partner. I’m never gonna take the backseat to anything. So just going forward, I think I’ve just learned this is the type of person that I want to be with, this is what I will tolerate, this is what I won’t tolerate. if you can’t take that, we just gotta respectfully go our separate ways. Somebody not seeing your values doesn’t make your value go down. People cheating on you, that doesn’t have anything to do with you. You’re not less attractive. You’re not less of a good person.”

Their split comes after Megan accused Thompson of cheating on her with several women.
On her Instagram story, Megan let Thompson know she wasn’t playing around.
“Cheating, had me around your whole family playing house… got “cold feet.” Megan posted. “Holding you down through all your HORRIBLE mood swings and treatment towards me during your basketball season now you don’t know if you can be “monogamous”???? b**** I need a REAL break after this one .. bye y’all”
Megan is currently engaged in a lawsuit where a photographer alleges she forced him to watch her have sex with several women in a car.
The rap star also just finished her Broadway bid for Moulin Rouge! However she did not finish it out as exhaustion and stress led to her hospitalization.
