Memphis Bleek is standing firmly behind JAY-Z as criticism continues surrounding the rapper and business mogul’s reported Target deal.
During a recent conversation, Bleek argued that JAY-Z does not owe the public an explanation for his business decisions and dismissed the criticism from those questioning his commitment to activism.
“Don’t talk to me about that. I don’t give a f*** about that activism s***,” Bleek said. “’Cause these ns is still in there, my n. So don’t worry about us.”
Bleek’s comments suggest that he believes critics should focus on their own actions rather than questioning JAY-Z’s decisions. His response comes as fans continue debating the relationship between hip-hop, corporate partnerships and social responsibility.
