In December 2025, rap star 21 Savage decided to become the change that he wanted to see. So he started the “F**k The Streets” campaign. A movement that denounces the gang culture and street violence that is often glorified in rap lyrics.

Many other rappers latched on. With other drill rappers such as G-Herbo, Young Thug, and a host of others echoing the same sentiment on social media. But one person who isn’t feeling the movement is rap star NBA Youngboy.

Youngboy Slams 21 Savage’s ‘F**k The Streets’ Movement

During a recent interview with Complex, the Louisiana rapper was asked about his stance on 21 Savage and others banding together to change the narrative surrounding rap music. And he did not hold back at all.

“I don’t give a F**k about that I am the streets I love the streets I come from the streets I ain’t on all that p**sy a** s**t,” he said of the movement.

However, many of the fans in the comments section of the social media post were not in agreement with the rap star.

“Our community so f**ed man,” one user wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.

“I’m so glad I’m a taxpaying citizen. I don’t have to act hard in public for other people’s weird validation,” another user added.

“Now a bunch of kids are about to go grab guns and repeat what he said word for word for their reason to carry,” a third user chimed in.

That was not the only controversial comment that Youngboy made during the interview. The rapper was also asked about the title of his most recent album, “Make America Slime Again,” which seemed to be a parody of United States President Donald Trump’s campaign Slogan, Make America Great Again. When responding, the rap star confirmed that the album was a salute to the United States President.

“Follow whatever Trump applies,” he said, as seen in a clip shared by Kurrco. “In every way. […] Enforce whatever Trump’s applying. That’s it.”
