NBA YoungBoy sat down with Funny Marco for a rare interview earlier this week. During the one on one, he opened up about his mom.
“I think my relationship with my momma used to be a big part of my anger. There’s just certain s*** you couldn’t fix. Certain people you not gonna bond with in the way that you desired. So I started loving my mom from a distance. To date, I’ll never in life speak to her again, but I love her.”
His mom then took to social media and posted a response.
“Kentrell, you don’t talk to me or you don’t talk to your f**kin’ kids?… Quit playin’ with me on this internet… I don’t give a f**k if you don’t ever call me,” YoungBoy’s mom said.
She also put up a post claiming to have been with him during a recent interview and to keep her name out his mouth.
YoungBoy did not appreciate his mother’s fiery comments and went on a livestream with Funny Marco to respond.
“She go on that b**** flash and talk about gon lie with me and this and that,” he ranted. “A lot of people don’t know how the relationship was. This stuff behind the scenes, stupid a** h** spitting my grandma’s face. These stupid a** b**** that spit in my face before. Lot of n***** gonna get on these b**** and say,’ oh, when I see him, I’ma beat his ass about what he said about his mama.’ I will kill your stupid a**. You better ask her. You better mind your m********* business.”
He also called her many names, including “stupid h**’ several times.
It was quite jarring comments from the rap star about his own mother. However, their fallout is well-documented, as YoungBoy alleges his mom wasn’t in his life at all and instead, his Grandma raised him completely. He also says his mom only caused hurt in his life.
NBA YoungBoy fires back at his mother, Sherhonda, while on IG Live with Funny Marco, saying she's never been to Korea a day in her life and is only chasing attention.
