Pooh Shiesty, Big 30, and their seven co-defendants have finally received a trial date after their arrest in connection with a robbery and kidnapping that took place in January.

Pooh Shiesty Receives Trial Date For Gucci Mane Case

According to XXL, Senior United States District Judge David C. Godbey signed off on a pre-trial order that scheduled the trial for July 6. The final decision will be made on July 1 when the prosecution and defense meet for a final pre-trial conference.

The FBI complaint against Shiesty alleges that he led Gucci to believe that they were meeting for a business meeting at his studio. And presented him with paperwork that would release him from his deal with Gucci Mane’s record label 1017 Brick Squad. However, Gucci declined. And when he did, the group of men entered the studio with Guns drawn, demanding that he sign the contract, granting the rap star his release.

In addition, the group took several luxury items from Gucci and Other victims in the studio. Including Rolex watches and Gucci Mane’s wedding ring. They also allegedly unscrewed the earrings from Gucci Mane’s ears.

The entire saga has taken the rap industry by storm. With many people calling out Gucci Mane for cooperating with the feds. But the rap star doesn’t appear to have any remorse about his decision.

Gucci dropped off a new track titled ‘Crash Dummy’ back in April. And on the track, he confirms that he was “set up” by the rapper for what he thought was a business meeting.

He also clowns Pooh Shiesty for still being under contract with his record label, 1017 Brick Squad. Even after his arrest.

“Tell the truth, you went out like a real crash dummy / And after all that, boy, you still signed to me,” he raps on the track.

If Shiesty is convicted, he could spend the rest of his life in prison.
