Fresh off the release of Clipse’s new album, Let God Sort ‘Em Out, rap artist Pusha T is ready to reignite his longtime rivalry with Cash Money Records.
Pusha T Targets Birdman and Drake in New Verse
On a new song titled Damage Control, which also features Wale, he aims at Cash Money founder, Birdman.
”The real Birdman, I just cock-a-doodle-doo. Doorstep, doorstep, I get it right through,” he raps on the song.
He also appears to aim at Drake amid his lawsuit against Universal Music Group (UMG) over Kendrick Lamar’s song Not Like Us.
“Money talk, money talk, the wrist is light blue / Sugarhill sweet, s**t is feeling type 2 / bruised egos, man, you n****s might sue / New Jack Ninos telling on the crew,” Pusha T raps in his verse.
Pusha has not been short of words when it comes to Drake’s lawsuit against UMG. He previously noted that the entire premise of his litigation “cheapens the art” of hip-hop.
“I don’t rate him anymore. The suing thing is bigger than some rap sh–. I just don’t rate you,” the rap star said in a June 2025 interview with GQ. “Damn, it’s like it just kind of cheapens the art of it once we gotta have real questions about suing and litigation. Like, what? For this?”
Pusha T and Drake have developed one of hip-hop’s most bitter rivalries over the years. Their feud peaked in 2018 when the Virginia-born rapper dropped his track Story of Adidon. In the song, Pusha T reveals that Drizzy had a child with Sophie Brussaux, also known as adult film star Rosie Divine.
Pusha was declared the victor after Drake didn’t offer a response to the controversial song. However, Drake has dropped several subliminals aimed at Pusha over the years. For example, in his 2023 track Wick Man where he appeared to call the Clipse member “Broke as f**k.”
It will be interesting to see if Drake responds.
