Once again, rap star Nicki Minaj has found herself in the middle of drama. During one of her now-infamous social media rants earlier this month, the Pink Friday creator revealed that she was a victim of fraud.
Rah Ali Calls Out Nicki Minaj in Emotional Letter
During her rant, Minaj revealed that somebody close to her had defrauded her out of over $25k. Upon this revelation, fans began to speculate who the culprit was. And many accused Minaj’s friend and Love & Hip-Hop star Rah Ali of committing the crime.
Amid the rumors, Rah Ali took to social media on Wednesday (October 29) to set the record straight.
“Throughout the duration of our friendship, I have been nothing but loyal and genuine,” Ali wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter. “Even if you’re going through a hard time right now, I can’t allow you to destroy me and the business I’ve built.”
Although Minaj has not directly said anything negative about Ali publicly, she has also not denied the rumors. This has opened the gateway for the criticism that Ali has received since she made the comments. Which Ali says was an “unimaginable” thing for her to do.
“You’ve empowered and given license to others to spread deplorable lies about me, smearing my character and throwing away the friendship,” she continued. “To be lied on by someone you don’t know is one thing; for it to come from you is unimaginable.”
Ali concluded her social media post by demanding that Minaj show the receipts that she has or to apologize to her. For allowing the slander on her name to continue. She also advised her to “seek help” for whatever it is that she is going through.
“Show the evidence or apologize instead of sensationalizing headlines. Get offline and seek help. Reclaim your peace, your time, and your crown,” Ali concluded.
Nicki Minaj has not yet responded to Ali’s letter.
