Hip-hop veteran Redman puts his legendary mic skills on full display in a new installment of Red Bull 64 Bars, teaming up with acclaimed Italian producer DJ Shocca.
Recorded in Los Angeles, the performance features Redman delivering 64 uninterrupted bars over a stripped-down Shocca production designed to keep the focus on the lyrics. The episode marks the first English-language performance recorded for the Italian edition of Red Bull 64 Bars and represents another international expansion for the series.
With no traditional hook or chorus to lean on, Redman fills the performance with punchlines, wordplay, career references and the animated delivery that has defined his sound for more than three decades. DJ Shocca provides a gritty backdrop that complements Redman’s East Coast style while giving his rhymes plenty of room to breathe.
