Rick Ross is gearing up to launch his next studio album, Set in Stone, later this year. And if the project sounds anything like his first single, fans are in for some heat.
Ross & T.I. Release Visuals For ‘Mahogany Caskets’
Rozay dropped off the first single for the forthcoming project earlier this month. The song, titled Mahogany Caskets, featured southern legend T.I. and Ross is talking spicy on the new record. Appearing to aim at his longtime nemesis, 50 Cent.
“Drug lords, all I see is drug wars. Bulletproof trucks to the front doors. Shoot up all your s**t, f**k 50 Cent. It ain’t ever walk away, that goes for many men,” he raps on the track.
The rap duo also released the visuals for the new single on Monday (June 15). The video features imagery of an abandoned burning hearse. As well as a casket, which was set ablaze at the altar of a church.

Ironically enough, T.I. has had his own issues with 50 this year.
What started as friendly jabs between Tip and Fif in who would win in a potential Verzuz matchup turned dark after Fif posted an unflattering photo of T.I.’s wife, Tiny, to his social media page. From there, the G-Unit, the creator, traded a firestorm of social media posts and explosive tracks. Bringing each other’s families and loved ones into the mix.
Ross’s new project was initially slated to release on June 12 but has been delayed until July 17. Stay tuned for more updates.
