Hip-Hop pioneers Salt-N-Pepa reunited with DJ Spinderella for a surprise performance on The Jennifer Hudson Show, marking a powerful and long-awaited moment for fans.
Cheryl “Salt” James, Sandra “Pepa” Denton, and Deidra “Spinderella” Roper brought their signature energy to the show’s Spirit Tunnel, chanting lines from their iconic 1987 hit “Push It.” The reunion followed the group’s November 8, 2025, induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in Los Angeles, where Missy Elliott honored them for their trailblazing impact on Hip-Hop and women in music.
During their induction speech, Salt-N-Pepa took a stand against London Records, calling out the label for allegedly withholding royalties — a bold moment that underscored their continued fight for artist rights.
Their onstage reunion with Spinderella was especially meaningful, coming after years of public and legal disputes, including Spinderella’s 2019 lawsuit and her absence from the group’s 2021 Lifetime biopic.
Fans flooded social media to celebrate the reunion, praising the trio for putting the past behind them and bringing unity back to one of Hip-Hop’s most influential groups.
For longtime supporters, it was more than nostalgia — it was healing in real time.
