Ray J didn’t hold back when responding to Shyne, Mase, and Cam’ron due to their recent comments about R&B star Brandy. And now Shyne has issued his own response.
Shyne Responds To Ray J’s Recent Comments
The former Bad Boy Records took to social media to respond to the reality star. And to add insult to injury, he used Ray J’s own song to do it.
On Wednesday (July 18), Shyne posted a photo of himself along with the two former Moesha stars.
“Let the record reflect that I did not ‘hit it first’ ….. most respectfully,” he captioned the social media post.
He also used Ray J’s infamous song, Hit It First, as the background music.
Ray J took issue with the comments that Shyne made during his appearance on Cam’ron and Mase’s talk show, It is What it Is, earlier this week. Cam’ron referenced a long-time rumor that Mase and Shyne were both romantically involved with Brandy at the same time. And Shyne confirmed that the rumor was true. But insists he did not know about her and Mase.
“I mean no lie told,” Shyne said. “[Mase] was Shaq. You know he was the champion. He was the MVP. I was Kobe, no pun intended, because you know they said Kobe was a special friend of Brandy’s as well. No pun intended, because I was coming out of high school to play on a championship team, he was the star of the team. I definitely wanted to be special.”
After the segment went viral, Ray J went on stream. And hurled several insults at the trio of rappers. He even threatened to get gang members involved in his revenge plot. However, Shyne doesn’t appear to be too worried.
