After a week off, Power Book: Force returned for Season 4, Episode 10. Which was also the series finale. And the action-packed conclusion proved to be worth the wait.
With Tommy Egan (played by Joseph Sikora) still at war with Chicago Brothers International (CBI), bloodshed on the streets of Chicago was imminent.
Tariq St. Patrick Returns in ‘Force’ Series Finale
As part of his warpath to destroy CBI and their leader, Jenard (played by Kris D. Lofton), Egan plans to ambush a warehouse where the gang is staying. But he knows that their team is strong. That’s when he calls in a “favor” for extra ammunition. That favor ends up being Tariq St. Patrick (played by Michael Rainey Jr), the star of Power Book: Ghost.
Rainey comes in just the nick of time as Tommy is reloading a clip. And takes out three of CBI’s henchmen just as they are beginning to close in on him.
Even though Tommy and the crew fail to kill their main target in Jenard, it ended up working in his favor. After losing the war, CBI flips on Jenard and joins forces with Tommy’s coalition.
But what does Tariq’s emergence in Chicago mean? In the episode’s final scene, Riq suggests that his Uncle Tommy come back to New York with him. So they can expand their booming drug business. Even though Tommy is skeptical at first, he ultimately sides with his nephew. After Tariq convinces him that they can build a “legacy” back home in New York.
So what does this mean for the future of the Power Universe? Has Tommy finally forgiven Tariq for killing his father, Ghost? And with Jenard still looking to avenge his brother’s death, will he follow Egan to New York?
It seems that 50 Cent could have yet another spin-off in the works. It will be interesting to see what he comes up with next.
