In a new interview with The Art of Dialogue, former Death Row Records CEO Suge Knight gave his take on rumors surrounding Drake purchasing the iconic Death Row chain once associated with Tupac Shakur.
Suge didn’t hold back his opinion, suggesting that Drake may have been taken advantage of in the deal. “Drake go to the jewelry store and kick his a*—he played you,*” Suge said, implying that the transaction wasn’t as authentic or valuable as it might have seemed.
The comment quickly sparked conversation online, with fans debating whether Drake actually bought a genuine piece of Hip-Hop history or if the chain’s legacy has been diluted by resales and replicas over the years.
While the truth behind the chain remains unclear, Suge’s blunt reaction adds another layer of controversy to Hip-Hop’s fascination with Death Row memorabilia and its place in today’s culture.
The chain issuer himself has spoken 🤣🤣🤣
