New York Native Teyana Taylor was in attendance at Frost Bank Arena in San Antonio for Game 5 of the NBA Finals. And went viral after a courtside dispute with a security guard.
Security Guard Denies Teyana Access to Knicks Celebration
The Knicks wrapped up their series on Saturday night, with a 94-90 victory over the Spurs. Landing them their NBA Championship in 53 years. Once the final buzzer sounded off, Teyana (wearing the black Knicks jacket) and an associate tried to enter the court area. To join the Knicks for the celebration.
However, that plan was thwarted by a female security guard. One who appeared to tell Teyana that she could not enter the floor. Teyana looks to explain herself, and then another female security officer seems to step in to confirm that she could not enter the court area.
Fat Joe and Knicks star Karl Anthony Towns’ father, who were already on the court, looked to try to intervene. But to no avail, as both of the security guards stood firm on their decision not to let her onto the court, despite her celebrity status.

Of course, fans had a lot to say about the interaction once the clip went viral.
“That’s the issue with celebrities, they feel entitled to do whatever they want. Still a regular person at the end of the night,” one person wrote under the comments section of the post.
“She knew they weren’t going to let her on the court. That’s why she sat there for so long,” a second user chimed in.
The Knicks are set to host a celebration parade this Thursday (June 18) that will run down Broadway in New York City.
